We are an independent community media social enterprise which has received funding from public bodies including Invest NI and Belfast City Council, as well as charitable trusts and foundations such as the Community Foundation NI, the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust and the Public Interest News Foundation.
Co-founder Una Murphy was awarded a scholarship from Google to participate in the Journalism Innovation and Leadership programme at the University of Central Lancashire (2021) and along with VIEWdigital editor Brian Pelan, we have participated in the Google News Initiative FT Strategies Digital Transformation and Rapid Response programmes, (2020 and 2021).
